The Organizations We're Tracking

This is by no means an exhaustive list of "progressive" organizations. In general, we've tried to avoid the organizations that are just PACs.

Note that some organizations may endorse multiple candidates for the same position. Generally this is because the candidate has met some criteria, not that the organization is choosing the "best" candidate for the office.

Bernie Sanders: U.S. Senator and presidential candidate who personally endorses progressive congressional candidates.

Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the US, endorsing candidates committed to democratic socialism.

Green New Deal Champions: candidates who have signed the GND Champions Pledge, committing to champion the Green New Deal and a just transition to 100% clean energy in Congress.

Political Integrity Project provides letter grades in their Integrity Index, rating congressional incumbents on their financial integrity and resistance to corruption. Candidates who have taken their Political Integrity Pledge are listed here.

Take BAC Congress is a nonpartisan organization whose congressional candidates have pledged to fight for term limits, overturning Citizens United, a lobbying moratorium, and a Supreme Court code of ethics.
